About Friends of ArtQuest

Friends of ArtQuest is a parent, alumni and community not-for-profit organization with the mission to support ArtQuest at Santa Rosa High School through advocacy, volunteer and fundraising efforts. Each year, we support the ArtQuest program, faculty and students by funding equipment purchases, aiding with student travel expenses, assisting with carpooling and awarding thousands of dollars through the Sparks Award Program which allows ArtQuest students to pursue their artistic interests beyond Santa Rosa High School. We also host an annual  social and fundraising event. Every fall, we host a free “Back to ArtQuest” picnic.

Our goals are to:
  • Foster the highest standards of excellence in arts education
  • Support the ArtQuest program and teacher needs
  • Advocate for the ArtQuest program
  • Raise funds for ArtQuest
  • Encourage proactive parent involvement
  • Create a broad base of community awareness and support for the Arts in Education

Friends of ArtQuest is anon-profit IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (Tax ID# 68-0446082). Gifts & memberships are tax deductible.

About ArtQuest

ArtQuest is an award-winning public school program for students for whom creativity and artistic expression is of paramount importance.

In the heart of artistically rich and diverse Sonoma County, ArtQuest offers an "above and beyond" experience in the Visual and Performing Arts. At ArtQuest, the passion, commitment and discipline of the Arts is connected to the energy of academic study; inspired by guest artists; enlarged by meaningful off-site visits, exhibits and performances; enriched by its proximity to Santa Rosa Junior College, the Santa Rosa Community Media Center and numerous nearby cultural organizations; and nurtured by generous parent, community and business support.

ArtQuest is a place where students, from all over Sonoma County and beyond, come together as young artists to exhibit, perform and begin to build their dreams into realities; and to pursue artful lives, wherever they may lead...

ArtQuest offers seven Arts disciplines:
Visual Arts
  • Digital Arts
  • Photography
  • Video Arts
  • Visual Fine Arts
Performing Arts
  • Dance
  • Instrumental Music
  • Theatre Arts
